Mike Nairn, Breckland Council chairman recognised Helen Pipe and Gareth Hill for their volunteer work in the community, they represent many residents of Narborough who support and volunteer for village projects. The chairman's silent heroes scheme is recognizing community volunteers across the district.

We would like to say a huge thank you to those who attended our Narborough fair day , although the weather wasn't on our side it was still a great day, thank you to all stall holders who came, and a huge thank you to all who volunteered to help in the kitchen , Helen a huge thank you to you for organising stalls and the dog show, and just a general thank you to all who was involved.
